The only thing you’ve ever dreaded about arriving at your campsite is dealing with tent setup. It’s always been a hassle that takes two people (preferably one with a PhD in engineering) to set up. That’s why Grand Trunk designed its game-changing four-man tent: the Uinta Quick-Set Tent.
It takes one person less than one minute to assemble. Just slip it out of its bag, set it on the ground, and pull the central hub upwards till the poles snap in place. That’s it. All the poles are already attached. Maybe take another 30 seconds to put stakes down, and then you can do what you came for: relaxing.

Included full-coverage rain fly (with waterproof taped seams) covers the tent and makes it impermeable to the elements if it gets rainy; built-in vents keep the tent from getting muggy

Overhead gear loft and side stash pockets hold smaller items within easy reach

Large front vestibule area is the perfect stow spot for muddy boots and dirt-covered backpacks

Sets up as easy a popup hunting blind, roomy, we really liked the tent! The draw back is that it does not withstand windy conditions well. We had to stop along the way and buy 1/2 inch wooden dowel and Velcro to re-enforce the lower knuckled joints along the poles to prevent it from collapsing in onto us during windy conditions. A great concept that needs improvement. (Posted on 3/25/12)

The Grand Trunk company is top notch for custormer service!!! I truly love the tent and friends are jealous. When I visit on comfortable nights, my hosts often insist that I JUST STAY in the guest room. I decline in favor of the Grand Trunk and the Great Outdoors!!!

Anyone who can open and close an umbrella can set up this tent.

The tent stands up to heavy ocean breezes, here off the Gulf of Mexico. I already went through a few storms with the tent. I am normal height and the tent is plenty roomy. (Posted on 1/10/12)
